- Yes. The morning newsletter is free, with no paywall. You can subscribe from any page or at /subscribe and unsubscribe with one click at any time.
- Who writes the articles?
- Articles are produced by The Daily Geelong's newsroom from named, publicly available sources, which are linked in every piece. Every story carries a human byline and is reviewed against our editorial standards before publishing.
- How do I submit a news tip?
- Use the secure tip form at /tips, or email the newsroom directly. We protect the identity of confidential sources.
- How do I submit an event?
- Free community events can be submitted at /submit-event. We publish events that have a public source URL we can link to.
- How do I report a correction?
- Every article has a 'Suggest a correction' link at the bottom. We correct errors quickly, transparently, and note material updates on the article itself.
- Can I advertise or sponsor a newsletter?
- Yes. See /advertise for current placements and pricing, or /sponsor for sponsored content options. All paid placements are clearly labelled.
- Do you have a public API or RSS?
- Yes. RSS feeds are at /rss/news.xml and /rss/events.xml. A read-only JSON API is available at /api/articles.json, /api/events.json and /api/weather.json. The canonical site is https://dailygeelong.com.au.
